 Overview:

 The CWIC will provide work incentives planning and assistance directly to Social Security beneficiaries with disabilities. The CWIC will emphasize employment through the use of work incentives, leading to greater self-sufficiency. The CWIC will conduct outreach efforts to beneficiaries with disabilities (and their families) who are potentially eligible to participate in federal or state work incentives programs designed to assist beneficiaries to work; and work in cooperation with federal, state and private agencies and nonprofit organizations that serve beneficiaries with disabilities. 

 Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Education or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Four (4) years of experience in working with people with disabilities. 
• Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. 
• Must be familiar with the vocational implications of various disabling conditions. 
• Must successfully complete CWIC training and obtain certification within one (1) year of hire. 

   **Travel Requirements**

Some travel may be required. The travel may be local or national. 

 Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to travel to various community sites and events. The employee will be required to provide oral presentations to small and large audiences. The employee will be required to operate computer equipment and other basic office equipment.
