The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for the adherence of the GCE Quality Control Plan (QCP) as it pertains to the performance standards of the specific work site or sites assigned. The QC Inspector is responsible for providing the Project Manager and the operational staff with established performance objectives and inspecting services for defects, timeliness and discrepancies. This position will receive, investigate and provide root cause analysis regarding customer complaints and provide recommendations to correct when deficiencies are confirmed. Knowledge of the Statement of Work (SOW) & Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) and technical exhibits. Conduct inspections of all special, general, and quarterly cleaning service according to contract statement work and GCE guidelines.
Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of the quality control process and use of the quality checklist form.
Demonstrate proficiency in custodial areas to include: Hard floor care; Soft (carpeted) floor care; Restroom cleaning; Room and office cleaning; Cleaning of utility areas such as stairwells and elevators.
May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon and/or evening hours as well weekends and Holidays.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive) and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels or snow plows.
