Overview

The Laborer - Lead is responsible for performing mainly physical laborer duties to support the organization's Facilities Maintenance (FM) functions. This individual will lead/supervise crew(s) of 2-6 Laborers in Essential Functions' performance stated below.

Requirements

Experience:

  1. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  2. Must have a minimum of one (1) year supervisory or crew lead experience.
  • Must be able to comprehend both written and/or verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to work overtime and be on call as required in support of FM operations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
  • Must be able to meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

  • May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. Will be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays. May require being on-call for after normal duty hour repairs or services.
  • While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive) and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary and will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate small to medium size power equipment, inclusive of lawn equipment.
