Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for Baptist Healthcare at Gulf Breeze Hospital. The Clinical Dietitian will provide basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients. Implements business practices to uphold GCE’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit through the implementation of services.
Maintain and develop client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition assessments and care planning of patients.
Fulfill contractual obligations to the client to ensure account retention.
Be accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
Direct dietary care of patients with basic nutrition needs, including screening, assessment, and care planning to ensure patient dietary needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
Educate medical staff and counsel patients and their families on proper nutritional care.
Manage and promote food and nutrition programs according to GCE policy and standards.
Collaborate and communicate with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, nutrition care, special diets, and menu requests.
Stay current with the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
Probe potential problems and apprise manager of status on resolution of problems or issues.
Establish operating standards, implement quality improvements and communicate them to other departments.
May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours and weekends and holidays.
While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive) and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
