Position Summary:

The IT Project Manager III leads a team on one or more complex software development projects and ensures project deliverables are met. Develops and executes master plan to meet project requirements while working directly with the client to resolve issues. Analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. Provides applications systems analysis
and programming activities for a Government site, facility, or multiple locations. Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, production activities, and necessary support resources. Oversees all aspects of projects.

Role Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project management.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT project/program management and/or software engineering.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in Federal contracts is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Visio and WorkFlow may be required.
  • A working knowledge of project management principles.
  • Knowledge of all phases of work outlined in contract responsibilities.
  • Advanced proficiency level with MS Office products.
  • PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master is strongly preferred and may be required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in both leadership and customer liaison roles.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a public trust, secret or top secret clearance or higher.
  • U.S. Citizenship, as required per government contract.
