This is an AbilityOne contract which requires most work hours must be performed by a Team Member with Significant Disabilities. Due to the program requirements, this requisition needs to be filled by a person that meets the AbilityOne criteria.

The Plumber assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
Read building plans and blueprints to determine proper installation procedures.
Perform job functions such as cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
Perform routine maintenance functions using various hand and power tools such as drills, saws, pipe cutters, cutting torches, pipe threading devices, etc.
Perform assembly and install of valves, pipefittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass, and lead, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay, and plastic.
Perform installation and repair of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
Be available to be on call for after-hours emergency maintenance duty and work overtime as required.
Lift, pull, push, and/or manipulate objects as required.
Attend required GCE and LCI in-service training.
Perform other duties as required.
May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours and weekends and holidays.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
