Position Summary:

The Help Desk Analyst I is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, software, and user accounts. The individual responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solutions. If a solution cannot be implemented, the individual is responsible for escalating the request to the next tier. This position is the customer-facing position of the 96 Medical and Dental Systems Flight and will be responsible for providing Tier 1 support. 
Role Requirements:

• Education: 

    o Must have an Associate’s degree in a related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Experience: 

    o Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the field or a related area. 

• Must possess a Security+ certification. 

• Must have excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving skills. 

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently in a medium/high-stress environment. 

• Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignments on the specified contract(s). 

• Must have MDGI 48-115 documentation available at time of in-processing: 

  o Hepatitis B: Three shot series OR a positive titer. o Influenza: Current season. o MMR: Two-shot series OR a positive titer. 

  o PPD: Two TB skin test at least one week apart but within 12 months OR a QFT/T-spot. 

  o Tdap: One-time dose; then Td booster every ten (10) years. 

  o Varicella: Two shot series OR a positive titer OR medical documentation of chickenpox diagnosis as a child. 

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. 

• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate. 

Travel Requirements:

Some travel may be required, up to 10% of the time. The travel may be local or national and may be by car, rail, or air.
