The Salad Maker will efficiently prepare all salads and vegetable chop list. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below but GCE may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements. Job Duties include: Prepare foods under direct supervision or instruction by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables for culinary use. May clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all GCE, client and regulatory rules and procedures. Ensure proper rotation of food based on expiration dates. Perform mathematical calculations. Perform work in cold temperatures. Understand kitchen and equipment safety regulations. Garnish and decorate food for serving line. Must be able to read and use Military recipe card service. Operate pallet jack and other types of equipment. Understand and execute superior customer services.
