The Organizational Development Specialist assists with the planning, development, implementation, and administration of Human Capital programs for GCE employees. Job duties include: Liaise with GCE's leadership and business partners to support the development and delivery of organizational development initiatives.  Consult with leadership to assist in identification and troubleshooting of organizational effectiveness problems. Participate in offering solutions while building positive, value-added relationships.  Support the development and maintenance of a centralized and standardized GCE job description repository.  Manage job code crosswalk data to impart organized distribution of job codes.  Support organizational planning with coordination of staffing changes and creation of organizational charts.  Support GCE's Performance Management processes by coordinating training, monitoring timelines, troubleshooting issues, compiling metrics, etc.  Assist with developing and optimizing on-boarding procedures to serve the needs of a growing and diversely structured workforce.  Support the implementation of policies and procedures relating to GCE's organizational development.  Maintain updates to organizational forms, plans, Standards of Performance, etc., per the protocols defined by Corporate Compliance.  Define and implement process standards to support waste elimination and productivity improvement. Drive consistency in applications and processes.  Examine and identify potential process improvements and assist in the development of solutions.  Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct process information gathering and document "current state" processes with associated business requirements.  Ensure appropriate improvement methods are being carried out properly and delivering the intended results.   Stay abreast with organizational development trends.  Maintain current competence through continuing education. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.  
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with a diverse set of roles and responsibilities across business lines.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Proficient with written and verbal communication.  
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

  • Occasional travel required.
