Description/Job Summary

This is an AbilityOne contract which requires most work hours must be performed by a Team Member with Significant Disabilities. Due to the program requirements, this requisition needs to be filled by a person that meets the AbilityOne criteria.

Position Summary:

Responsible for effectively handling contacts in support of DMDC customers and their families. Contacts primarily enter as faxes requiring assessment of materials for completeness and accuracy, a review of existing or new case requirements and subsequent document imaging and appropriate retention or destruction per guidelines. Accurately documents inquiry outcomes for tracking and analysis. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the organization to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and timely. Applies standard operating or corrective procedure, refers problems that do not respond to preplanned procedure, and may serve as an assistant operator, working under general supervision.


Job Requirements: 
  • Experience requirement: One (1) or more years of experience in a clerk or equivalent role..
  •  Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  •  Good computer and clerical skills, to include basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  •  Must be able to obtain and maintain a position of public trust vetting.
  •  Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
  •  U. S. Citizenship required per government contract.

Travel Requirements:

Some travel may be required, up to 10% of the time
