Overview

This position will serve as an extension of the Corporate Organizational Management Services department. The Information Technology (IT) Quality and Process Improvement Manager is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the IT Quality Management System (QMS). This position will serve as the organization's SME for IT Quality.  Job Duties include:   Ensure that the organization's QMS conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.  Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the LoB services and those that measure our Agile and DevOps delivery to customers.  Monitor quality control of contract deliverables, including performance metric data.  Conduct periodic management review meetings.  Work with subject matter experts to document work flows.  Support implementation of all corporate level process improvement initiatives including but not limited to ISO and CMMI.  Develop, maintain and continuously update IT processes/procedures to effectively review and assess program performance metrics, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), and other program documentation and artifacts.  Support SLA, OLA, SOP action item follow-ups as well as technical/program management reviews.  Support customer facing QA/QC initiatives; to include implementing, monitoring and updating LoB/contract quality plans.  Serve as the LoB system administrator for the IT electronic document repository including document control. Handle all system reporting requests.  Maintain LoB non-PAR metrics/dashboard.  Document, deliver and track corrective and preventive action plans for the contract. Develop and conduct quality related training; to include coaching of quality initiatives, processes and procedures.

Qualifications
 

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's degree in related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Years of Experience: Four (4) years of experience with participation in quality measurement and improvement within an agile and DevOps-oriented IT delivery organization.  
  • One (1) year experience with ISO 9001:2015 auditing participation.  
  • Knowledge of CMMI, DevOps delivery metrics, IT project delivery.  
  • Capable of dealing with all levels of management, customers, and external vendors.  
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, organization and time management, critical thinking, and decision making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.  
  • ISO 9001:2015 certified internal or lead auditor experience preferred.  
  • ITIL Foundations certification preferred.  
  • Experience supporting Federal Government preferred.
Physical

Travel by car, rail and/or air may be required, domestically and internationally. The percentage of time traveling will vary widely based on the circumstances.
